Applications are invited for the following vacant post in Khyber College of Dentistry Peshawar from the candidates having Domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa FATA fulfilling the requisite requirements. 1. Assistant Professor BPS-18 (Clinical Subjects) a. Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery b. Operative Dentistry No. of Posts: 01 Qualification: (a) BDS or equivalent qualifications recognized/registered by the PM&DC. (b) Level III or Level II-b Post Graduate qualification OR other equivalent qualifications in the specialty approved by DEC (SRC for Dental) and recognized/ registered by the PM&DC. Experience: First preference: 02 years teaching experience as Lecturer/Demonstrator/ instructor before or after Level II-b in the relevant subject. One year experience as Lecturer/Demonstrator before or after Level-III qualification. Second Preference: One year teaching experience before or after Level-II b qualification as Lecturer/Demonstrator. 2. Assistant Professor BPS-18 (Basic Dental Subjects) a. Preventive & Community Dentistry b. Oral Biology No. of Posts: 01 in each Qualification: (a) BDS or equivalent qualification in Dentistry approved and registered by the PM&DC (b) Level II-b /III Post graduation like PhD/ FCPS/ M.D.S, M. Phil or equivalent postgraduate qualification recognized by the council in respective basic subject. Experience: First Preference: 02 years teaching experience as Demonstrator after Level II-b. One year experience is required for Level-III qualification holders. Second Preference: If first preference is not available, one year teaching experience as Demonstrator before or after Level- II b qualification. 3. Assistant Professor BPS-18 (Basic Science Faculty) a. Anatomy b. Physiology c. Bio-Chemistry d. Pharmacology e. General Pathology No. of Posts: 01 in each Qualification: (a) MBBS/BDS or equivalent medical qualifications recognized /registered by the PM&DC (b) PM&DC recognized Level II b or Level III Qualification in respective basic subject. OR Equivalent PM&DC Level II b or Level III qualifications In the respective specialty approved for teaching by PM&DC. Experience: Two years teaching experience as Demonstrator/Lecturer before or after Level-II b qualification and one year teaching experience as Demonstrator/Lecturer before or after Level-III qualification. 4. Anesthetist (Fixed pay on the basis of Qualification & relevant experience) (a) a. Postgraduate Degree/Fellowship in the specialty from a recognized University/Institute with at least one year experience in the relevant specialty before or after post-graduation; OR (b) b. Diploma in the specialty from a recognized Institute with at least three years experience in the relevant specialty. 5. Lecturer (Basic Science Faculty) a. Anatomy b. Physiology c. Bio-Chemistry d. Pharmacology e. General Pathology No. of Posts: 01 in each Qualification: MBBS/BDS or equivalent qualifications recognized /registered by the PM&DC. 6. Demonstrator a. Oral Medicine No. of Posts: 01 Qualification: BDS or equivalent qualifications recognized /registered by the PM&DC. 7. Junior Registrar a. Oral Medicine No. of Posts: 01 Qualification: BDS or equivalent qualifications recognized /registered by the PM&DC. 8. Medical Officer No. of Posts: 01 Qualification: MBBS (Pak) or equivalent qualification recognized by the council. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in Anesthesia. 9. Manager HR (Fixed pay) No. of Posts: 01 Qualification: (a) MBA in HRM/HRD from a recognized University (b) At least 05 years experience required in Hospital HR or any reputable healthcare organization. (c) Candidates should be well versed with HR practices including Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, and Performance appraisal. 10. Manager Purchase & Procurement (Fixed pay) No. of Posts: 01 Qualification: (a) Master Degree in Supply Chain Management/MBA Finance /M.Com or equivalent degree from a recognized university with a minimum of (b) At least 05 years’ experience in materials management department or purchase department in the healthcare industry/reputed hospital/ organization is required (c) The candidates should be conversant with Accounting Practices, Business Law and Contracts. 11. Manager Student Affairs (Fixed pay) No. of Posts: 01 Qualification: (a) MBA from a recognized university (b) At least 05 years’ experience required in students affairs of recognized Medical/Dental College. (c) Should be familiar with PM&DC admission and relevant rules. 12. Charge Nurse (Fixed pay equivalent to BPS-16) No. of Posts: 01 Qualification: Registered A Grade Nurse and Registered Mid Wife from Nursing Council. 13. Clinical Technician (Pathology) (Fixed pay equivalent to BPS-12) No. of Posts: 01 Qualification: At least Second Division Secondary School Certificate with Science from a recognized Board with Diploma in the relevant Paramedical Technology from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Faculty OR Diploma in the relevant Paramedical technology from any recognized institution; provided that the same is registered with the Medical Faculty Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. 14. Clinical Technician Radiology (Fixed pay equivalent to BPS-12) No. of Posts: 01 Qualification: At least Second Division SSC Science from a recognized Board with Diploma in the relevant Paramedical Technology from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical Faculty or from any recognized institution, provided that the same is registered with the Medical Faculty Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in 3D digital X-Ray. 15. Maintenance Supervisor (Fixed pay/ equivalent to BPS-12) No. of Posts: 01 Qualification: (a) Secondary School Certificate from a recognized Board and; (b) 03 years Diploma (Civil Engineering) from a Government Poly Technique Institute or equivalent qualification from a recognized Institute. Preference will be given to the candidates who have experience in the relevant field. 16. Store Keeper (Fixed pay/ equivalent to BPS-05) No. of Posts: 01 Qualification: (a) SSC from a recognized Board. (b) Preference will be given to those who have experience in a reputable/recognized Government Institutions in the relevant field. 17. House Keeping Supervisor (Fixed pay of Rs. 20,000/-) No. of Posts: 01 Qualification: B.Com/BBA with experience in the relevant field. Terms & Conditions: 1. Application on the prescribed form (available from the Office of the undersigned or can be downloaded from www.kcd.edu.pk/ ) accompanied with curriculum vitae, attested photocopies of Degrees/Diplomas, Academic Certificates, PMDC Certificate, House Job Certificates, experience certificates and research articles (in case of faculty positions) must reach the office of the undersigned Within 15 days of the publication of this advertisement during working hours. a. Services of selected/appointed candidates will be governed under the MTI Act 2015& regulations/PM&DC Rules & Regulations (in case of faculty positions) made in this context and their services will be on the terms & conditions mentioned in appointment order. However, on their selection/appointment as “Institutional Employee” they will have to resign from Govt. Service if any. b. For Serial No.1 to 11, a demand draft of Rs.1000/- and for S. No. 12 to 17, a demand draft of Rs.500/- payable in name of Dean KCD Peshawar shall be attached with the prescribed form as processing fee. 2. Interview calls will be issued to short listed candidates only. Short listing will be done through written test wherever so required. 3. The applicants will be entitled for receipt of acknowledgement of their application forms if delivered personally. 4. If the closing date fixed for the receipt of application form falls on an official holiday, the next working day shall be considered as the closing date. 5. Any application after the closing date and time shall stand rejected. 6. Both in-service and fresh candidates can apply. In-service candidates shall apply through proper channel. 7. The Scrutiny Committee/Selection Committee shall be competent to reject application which is incomplete. However the aggrieved candidates can appeal to the Dean KCD for review. The decision of the BOG shall be final. 8. The institution reserves the right not to fill more or less than the advertised post(s). 9. 2% of the above posts are reserved for disable candidates. 10. Any candidates may be disqualified and /or excluded from interview if he/she was: a. Convicted by court of law. b. Dismissed from public service. c. Knowingly furnishes any false information. d. Suppresses any information which may lead to his/her disqualification. e. Attempts to obtain support for his/her candidature by improper means. f. Submit forged certificates. g.
